Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™) certification is the next step for Scrum practitioners to further demonstrate their expertise in the Scrum framework. Expert Scrum Master Certified practitioners demonstrate their ability to manage complex Scrum projects and scale Scrum to large project teams, programs, and portfolios. Applicants will be awarded the Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™) certificate by upon successfully passing the certification exam.

• Participants will get familiarized with the concepts, advantages, and challenges of the Scrum methodology.

• Participants will be equipped with the knowledge needed to play the role of a Scrum Master in their organizations and help their organizations adopt Scrum methodology. Furthermore, students will develop an understanding of the other roles in Scrum.

• Participants are led through simulated case scenarios during which they carry out a Scrum project.

After completing the course, participants will be provided access to an online live proctored exam, along with the detailed steps to participate in the certification exam. After passing the exam, each delegate’s certificate will be mailed to him or her. The exam is multiple choice, typically 200 items and will take 240 minutes to complete. You need to achieve at least 80% score to pass the exam.

You apply for online exam by logging into your account. Once you schedule your exam, you will receive an email with the exam link, dates, and times for the exam. You will receive your exam results immediately after you have submitted your completed exam.

Please note that this is a proctored exam, so you must have a webcam in working condition or you will not be able to take the test. The webcam will remain on during the test, and the video of your exam will be captured throughout the test.

• This Certification is suitable for anyone who is an expert in the SCRUM team and wants to handle complicated Scrum projects as an Expert Scrum Master Certified.

To become an ESMC™ certified professional you should fulfil the following criteria:

• Should have three years of experience managing Scrum/Agile Projects

• Should be SMC®, SAMC™ and SPOC® certified.

• Should submit 500 words write up about two Scrum/Agile projects.

• Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™) certification with VMEdu ScrumStudy has a duration of 3 years. To maintain the certification, candidates will need to apply and pass the Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC™) Recertification exam.
